FIFA 15 PS4 Release Date & Trailer: Ultimate Edition Add-Ons Announced

As 2014 FIFA World Cup progresses, FIFA 15 by Electronic Arts is also expected to be more popular than ever, especially after add-ons to the Ultimate Edition were introduced by the game developer.

According to EA, the focus for 2014 will be the Ultimate Team modes and its special editions. In a report by Game Spot, the Ultimate Editions will provide players with different equipment, characters and a lot more for their Ultimate Teams. These will be available in Pro Packs or Gold Packs for $70. Gamers can have a lot of players to work with to establish their ultimate teams.

Previously, EA has been offering Pro Packs and Draft Packs for Madden 15 and NHL 15. The FIFA 15 Ultimate Edition has a lot more add-ons compared to the other two games. Gamers can expect a five-game access to Lionel Messi in Ultimate Team. One Gold Pack a week will be given for 40 weeks plus three goal celebrations.

The game will be released on September 23, writes IGN, and will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Playstation

The Messi FUT Loan Player add on is one of the most anticipated in the pack. Gamers get to use one of the best forwards in the game. Lionel Messi can be played for a number of games. Later on, gamers can unlock other key FIFA stars from the EA SPORTS Football Club Catalogue via their football club credits. As for the 40 Gold packs, these will be given to pre-ordering gamers. Whenever you login to redeem the packs, you get one pack a week for 40 weeks. These are worth $40 already.

The Adidas All-Star Team add-on allows gamers to choose and play any player on the brand's elite team, including Messi. Adidas will also feature the Predator boot bundle where gamers can get virtual boots from the Predator product line and EA SPORTS Football Club Catalogue. Finally, the Historic Kits will be available where gamers can unlock kits from classic teams in the history of football. The Historic Kits are featured in FIFA 15 and FIFA 15 Ultimate Team.

The three new goal celebrations include Stand Tall, Kiss the Wrist and Flag Kick. These make for a more exciting gameplay and fun with family and friends.

All these Ultimate Edition add-ons make FIFA 15 one of the best releases in the series. Primarily, the adjustments were made to finally allow avid gamers play with historic teams and superstars.
