The success that actress Eiza González has achieved in the United States is thanks to the demands of her mother, model Glenda Reyna, throughout her entire life.

The mother-daughter relationship has been like the one the Top Model -who is currently acting as judge in the show "Mexico's Next Top model" - has with her students, with the same demands and the same level of professionalism and quality she demands, according to Glenda Reyna in an interview.

"The relationship is also a reference to my work with models, because the way I am with them, is exactly how I am with my daughter, with the same demands. Never with a soft hand, always with a demanding hand, I'm surely she disliked me a lot some times but the results can be seen and they're present," said Reyna.

Regarding Eiza's work in the United States and the success that the young actress has reached in a few months, Glenda said she's very happy, satisfied and thankful for her daughter's achievements, saying that for the moment, the star of the show "From Dusk Till Dawn" has no plans to return to Mexico.

"We're very happy with her venture to the United States and thankful because she's doing very well; for the moment she won't be coming back to Mexico, because she already changed jobs but she's always to possibilities in her country because she loves it," she added.

Eiza is the daughter of Glenda Reyna and Carlos González, who lost his life in a motorcycle accident when the actress was only 12 years old. For Eiza, her father's death was a very strong blow she had to overcome during her teenage years and was a major influence in her career.

Under the care of the model, Eiza grew up with a rigurous level of discipline and suffered from attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity, and underwent treatment. At age 14 she entered Televisa's acting academy in Mexico and got her first starring role in the telenovela "Lola, Érase una Vez".

Currently, Eiza stars in the TV show "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series", under the direction of Robert Rodríguez.
