If blondes really have more fun, then Maroon 5's Adam Levine must be having the time of his life.

Levine is not shy when it comes to experimenting with his looks, but was the "Sexiest Man Alive" really able to pull off platinum locks that he's donning right now?

Liberty Voice said that according to Levine's hairstylist, Shaul Arbiv, the hunk "likes to change up his style often," adding that both of them "wanted to do something totally drastic and different from his previous styles."

His fiancée, Victoria's Secret Model Behati Prinsloo, seem to love his new look as much as he does, and that's all that should matter, right?

Well, seems like the correct answer is: not when you're the Sexiest Man Alive with throngs of fans screaming your name.

But Levine is adamant about choosing his own style. Even though many of his fans are less than thrilled about his new look, he doesn't seem to care what thousands of young girls think, saying, "when they say my hair looks creepy I take that as the highest compliment."

But why did he go for the platinum blonde 'do?

It's a mystery, but according to Liberty Voice, the singer/ actor/ "The Voice" judge may be hinting on a new project, saying that he may be preparing for some sort of upcoming apocalypse project. After all, he did caption a selfie of his new look with, "Apocalypse prep course complete."

The change may have been carefully thought-over, as according to the Los Angeles Times, Levine have been hinting about changing his hairstyle days before it actually happened, especially when he realized that the "pompa-hawk" he sported during the season 6 premiere of "The Voice" just won't stop growing.
