A series of cryptic tweets from the 1D member worried Directioners far and wide. It seems that there is no need to worry though, as Liam Payne has explained the mysterious tweets.
The 1D member first tweeted, "Nobody really knows me" then added "God Bless" out of the blue. Liam also tweeted a wink, followed by a pretty dark selfie - getting fans even more worried.
A few hours after the weird tweets, Liam Payne suddenly posted, "Felt like tweeting but I have absolutely nothing interesting to talk about lol so ermm hi."
Responding to a fan who asked about the weird tweets, the 1D member said, "@twinkledlou well I guess I was just thinking like nobody knows me I dunno I was a bit wasted aha."
According to UnrealityTV, Liam was spotted out and about several times this week. The outlet reports that the 1D member seems to have spent some nights at Funky Buddha, a nightclub in London.
Although Liam blamed alcohol for the weird tweets, some reports are saying that the 1D member was actually copying Justin Bieber.
Over at Instagram, the pop sensation posted a quite similar photo. Justin was in a dimly-lit room, with a candle in front of him when the photo was taken. The singer captioned the photo, "Don't you know me anymore."
Should Liam Payne have intended to mock Justin Bieber, it certainly isn't the first time. The 1D member let out a series of tweets mid February after the Canadian singer momentarily changed his Instagram handle to "Bizzle."
The Liam, along with co-member Louis Tomlinson, tweeted several words rhyming to "bizzle" such as "shizzle," "drizzle," "fizzle" and "sizzle." Justin Bieber fans have actually commented on the tweets, saying "STOP COPYINH [sic] JUSTIN!!"
