Court documents obtained by TheWrap accuse the "X-Men" director of drugging, raping and using his power to exploit a teen boy.

"Defendant Bryan Jay Singer manipulated his power, wealth and position in the entertainment industry to sexually abuse and exploit the underage plaintiff through the use of drugs, alcohol, threats and inducements, which resulted in plaintiff suffering catastrophic psychological and emotional injuries," the court documents read.

Based on the court documents obtained by TheWrap, the accusations against Bryan Singer include providing the teenager alcohol, putting "a handful of cocaine" against the boy's nose and forcing him to "inhale it," and "anally raping him twice."

The alleged victim is reportedly Michael Egan, then aged 17 years old at the time of the alleged assault by Singer, reports TheWrap. The outlet notes that Egan was a model and an aspiring actor. In connection to this, Bryan Singer allegedly promised acting roles to the teenager, including a slot in an "X-Men" movie, among others.

According to TheWrap, the lawsuit was filed in federal court in Hawaii, a month before "X-Men: Days of Future Past" is due out theaters. The "X-Men" director's attorney, Martin Singer, remarked that the lawsuit was clearly a publicity stunt for the upcoming film.

"We are very confident that Bryan will be vindicated in this absurd and defamatory lawsuit," he said. "It is obvious that this case was filed in an attempt to get publicity at the time when Bryan's new movie is about to open in a few weeks," the attorney told TheWrap.

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" hits the big screen on May 23, 2014.The film stars Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Michael Fassbender as the young Magneto later on played by Ian McKellen, James McAvoy as the young Charles Xavier with the older version played by Patrick Stuart and Halle Berry as Storm, among others.
