Be careful what you tweet for because you might just get it.

This was true for a 14-year old Dutch girl who pranked an airline company by sending it terror threats on Twitter, causing authorities to arrest her and investigate her actions.

The teenage girl, whose name was not revealed by authorities, was taken under the custody of local police in Rotterdame after she pretended to be a member of Al-Qaida from Afghanistan and tweeted a joke terror attack to American Airlines.

"Hello my name's Ibrahim and I'm from Afghanistan. I'm part of Al Qaida and on June 1st I'm gonna do something really big bye," the girl, who who used the account name @QueenDemetriax_Sarah tweeted.

American Airlines immediately took notice of the tweet and said: "@QueenDemetriax_ Sarah, we take these threats very seriously. Your IP address and details will be forwarded to security and the FBI."

Upon reading the reply of the airlines, the girl revealed that she was just a 14-year-old girl and that her post was just a joke.

She tweeted, "Omfg I was kidding," and immediately cleared that she was not from Afghanistan. "I was joking and it was my friend not me, take her IP address," she said in defense.

She also said that she never did anything wrong. "I'm just a fangirl pls I don't have evil thoughts."

The teenager admitted that she pranked the American Airlines because she was bored, Teen.com reported.

American Airlines spokesman Matt Miller told CNN that the company takes security matters "very seriously."

"At American Airlines, the safety of our passengers and crew is our top priority," he related.

He said the tweet has already been flagged down and has been forwarded to proper authorities.

The girl already deactivated her account dedicated to Demi Lovato, after netizens commented that she was outright racist and immature, notes Independent.

After the police were able to determine the girl's whereabouts, they arrested her and subjected her to investigation on Monday.

Rotterdam police spokesman Wessel Stolle told Business Insider that the police cannot provide any information on the charges as of this time.

"We just thought it was necessary to bring this out mostly because of the fact that it caused a great deal of interest on the Internet," he said.
