The upcoming Jordan 11 retro proves that snakeskin can be incorporated in athletic/ sporty footwear in a really cool way.

"As far as a green reptilian pair of kicks go, they're pretty simple. There's no actual texture to the toecap which is a bit of a letdown but the particular shade of green used is on point. Looks somewhat natural, comparatively speaking. A major selling point to me is the same blue-tinged sole on the kicks to preserve the iciness," Uproxx noted.

These Air Jordan 11 lows aren't exactly new on the scene, though. Earlier iterations featured kicks in various color schemes and even in snakeskin, although the upcoming model is in "a nightshade color," according to Nice Kicks. Which is why Nike has named these babies the "Nightshade" 11 Low, instead of just "green snakeskin."

So, where can you buy these cool new footwear?

On April 19th, these reptilian-textured shoes will be available on Social Status, retailing at $150.

You can also buy a pair on eBay, although you may have to pay higher than you should, given the selling arrangement. Right now, Nightshades on the auction site cost at least $250. If you want to wear them on your feet ASAP, be prepared to shell out some serious dough.

If you're fine waiting a couple more days for the grand launch of the latest Air Jordan 11s, you can get them at Nike.com from 8:00 a.m. EDT onwards on April 19th. They retail at $150, as well.

"Released in 1995 and following Michael Jordan's direction of bringing a "formal look" to the court, the original Air Jordan 11 proved to be one of the most popular Air Jordan shoes of all time," Nike's blurb of the latest 11's said. "The Air Jordan 11 Retro Low 'Nightshade' continues the legacy, with innovative updates. The original patent leather panels get a Snakeskin treatment, contrasting with the black leather/mesh upper and clear outsole with pops of Volt."

You also can buy these kicks at "select Jordan Brand retailers," Sole Collector said.
