A mother of three has reportedly been arrested and charged with six counts of murder after seven dead bodies of newborn babies were found inside of a Pleasant Grove home.

According to The Independent, Megan Huntsman, the alleged mother of the babies, admitted to strangling and suffocating six of the seven newborns. Huffington Post notes that one of the seven babies might have been stillborn.

The dead babies were reportedly found in the garage of her family home on Saturday, reports Huffington Post. The outlet claims, "She wrapped their bodies in a towel or a shirt, put them in plastic bags and then packed them inside boxes in the garage of her home south of Salt Lake City."

Hollywood Life says that it was Megan Huntsman's estranged husband, Darren West, who found the dead babies. West was apparently cleaning out the garage of the home, which is owned by his parents, confirms The Independent. The owners were planning to move back into the house which was occupied by Huntsman's three daughter, hence the clean-up.

West reportedly contacted the police department after he discovered one baby's dead body, narrates The Independent. The officers discovered six other dead bodies of babies who are believed to have been born full term. The corpses were "stuffed individually into boxes," notes the outlet.

"My personal reaction? Just shocked. Couldn't believe it. The other officers felt the same. They got more and more shocked each box they opened," Captain Michael Roberts said in a report by The Independent.

Huffington Post reports that Huntsman has admitted that the babies were hers. Investigators are awaiting results after ordering DNA tests to verify the identity of the parents of all seven babies.

Megan Huntsman was reportedly arrested Sunday for six counts of murder according to Huffington Post. "State Judge Steven Hansen set a $1 million dollar bail for each count of murder, making Megan's bail $6 million," says Hollywood Life.
