When you find your one desire, you have to take her to the altar and make a vow in front of everyone you know. According to Just Jared, Nick Carter used to say that he would "never get married," but meeting Lauren Kitt changed that, and he certainly wanted it that way for his fitness expert girlfriend.

The former Backstreet Boy and Lauren have been psyched about their nuptials, tweeting about their matrimonial plunge for weeks before the big day, even creating their own hashtag in the process. Fellow Backstreet Boy AJ McLean also posted about the rehearsal dinner on Instagram, saying, "the wedding that most of u thought would never happen, but I'm so happy it is finally!"

The wedding was beautifully done. The bride walked down the aisle in a mermaid-style, strapless gown with lace appliqués, while the groom gazed at her in a fitted black, Anthony Franco tux.

Lauren's dad gave her away, but on the Carter end of the wedding, things are a bit rocky. Due to a family discord, it seems unclear who in the Carter clan made the guest list. After all, Nick scheduled his bachelor's party in Las Vegas on the day of his sister Angel's wedding last February, making him a no-show on his younger sister's big day.

For those who felt like they've been cheated on following the events up to the heartthrob's wedding, fear not: everyone will eventually get a glimpse of the Nick and Lauren love story. According to Yahoo! Celebrity, a camera crew recorded the planning and nuptials for another Carter reality series called "I Heart Nick Carter," slated to debut on VH1 in the summer.

Nick asked for Lauren's hand in marriage on February 2013, after four years of dating. He popped the question on board his boat to an island in the Florida Keys with a 7-carat ring, in front of close friends and Lauren's dad.
