Jared Leto Lupita Nyong'o Dating? Rocker Says Actress Is 'an Award in Itself' at MTV Awards

Jared Leto keeps on teasing everyone about his connection with his "future ex-wife." When he received the Best Onscreen Transformation honor at the recently conclude MTV Movie Awards, the young-looking 42-year-old made some tongues wagging when he made a flattering comment about the "12 Years A Slave" actress, Daily Mail said.

"That's an award in itself to get that [award] from her," the 30 Seconds To Mars singer said. He won the Best Onscreen Transformation award for his role as a transgender in the movie "The Dallas Buyers Club."

PerezHilton also said in his blog that the two appeared at the awards ceremony in somewhat complementary outfits. Nyong'o debuted a colorful Chanel dress, which was a cocktail frock adorned with black ribbons, lots of ribbings, and a mixture of triangles, squares, circles and other shapes in various colors. She upped the fashion ante with her robin's egg blue Casadei pumps. The Academy award winner sported a longer yet properly groomed hair, and even wore black-framed glasses when she handed an award to Leto.

Leto, on the other hand, was equally quirky for a guy. Still sporting his ombre-hued surfer-like mane, he was certainly not shy in wearing a dark coat that seemed to have been sprinkled with silvery dust.

The rumors of the two hooking up started when Leto thanked Nyong'o during a speech at the speech at the Independent Spirit Awards, Daily Mail said. Referring to the 31-year-old, Leto joked, "I want to thank all the women I've been with and all the women who think they've been with me," before adding "And also my future ex-wife, I'm talking to you Lupita Nyong'o!"

On the other hand, Classicalite said Leto is seriously hooking up with reality television star Amber Atherton. Citing a source from Britain's Mail who is close to the singer-actor, he said about Jared's relationship with the "Made In Chelsea" star, "Amber's secretly been dating Jared for a while now. Every time he comes to London, which is often, they see each other. He's been pursuing her for a long time so he's over the moon. They love going for dinner at Mayfair's Arts Club."
