When Jessie J started out in her career in 2011, she declared she was bisexual. However, three years later, she has been singing a different tune when it comes to her sexuality. Now, she says she's actually straight.
"I don't regret anything I ever said, but I never knew back then that whatever I said became a fact that I couldn't change. I want to stop talking about it completely now and find myself a husband," declared the former "The Voice U.K." judge, The Mirror noted. "For me, it was a phase. But I'm not saying bisexuality is a phase for everybody."
"I feel that if I continue my career not speaking on it, I almost feel more of a liar than if I didn't. I just want to be honest, and it's really not a big deal. Who cares?" she added.
What will the LGBT community say about this? Well, that's not all she said during an interview with the British publication.
"It's a true struggle. All the chick flicks that didn't make sense to me, I now understand - Sex and the City is real!" she exclaimed, according to The Daily Mail.
Jessie also reportedly told a fan on Twitter that she fancies, dates, and loves "men and only men," emphasizing the fact that she is straight as an arrow, sexuality-wise. Well, at least this year, perhaps.
To nail the point even further, she gave a "strong hint" that she already has a man of her own.
"The 'Do It Like a Dude' singer posted a photo on Instagram last week with the intriguing caption: 'Something tells me I'm going to love him forever,'" The Mirror said. Sounds like this man may have been the key to her "turning straight."
