Harry Styles Collaborating With OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder Says Source

The 1D member is allegedly working with OneRepublic front man, Ryan Tedder, reports Metro.

Citing British newspaper The Sun, a source spilled, "Harry and Ryan have been working on new material together. They've met a number of times before with the band but have never worked together properly."

Ryan Tedder has worked with Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson for Midnight Memories, but the alleged collab between Harry and the OneRepublic front man will be a first. "There's a mutual appreciation there. If there's one person to get the best out of Harry, it's Ryan," the source added.

It is not clear what Ryan and Harry are brewing but the curly-haired 1D member has also worked with Kodaline the past month. "In the studio with @Harry_Styles in LA writing a tune, sounds massive. He's gone and done a drawing of us.. x," the Dublin-hailed group posts on Twitter.

Harry Styles has also been rumored to have worked with John Legend. The Mirror reports that the 1D member has co-written a song with his idol. The song is reportedly part of Harry's "personal projects."

The 1D member's song-writing projects out of One Direction is seemingly doing pretty well as Harry has been praised by quite a few individuals.

"Our favourite [song] is one that Harry Styles wrote with John Legend, it's beautiful and lovely. [Harry] is actually an amazing writer, he's pitched us a few other good ones and they're really good," Sierra of The X Factor's duet, Alex and Sierra admits. 

A source for the Mirror also said, "It's a testament to Harry's talents that he can work alongside John - who is, without doubt, one of the most gifted songwriters of a generation."    

Reports of Harry going solo has been dismissed by a rep for the group, notes Entertainment Wise, with the rep saying that the rumor was a "complete nonsense." However, British newspaper The Sun's source remarked that the new relationship between Harry Styles and Ryan Tedder will come in handy if the 1D member does try his hand at going solo.
