Latin Post reported earlier this month that Disney is currently gearing up for "The Incredibles 2". But aside from a much-awaited reunion with the Parrs, fans of the superhero family will also be seeing Frozone in action, Digital Spy reported.

Frozone, who's character's real name is Lucius Best, is played by none other than the man who brought S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury to life, Samuel L. Jackson. He is a close friend of the Parr family and Bob's best man in his wedding with Helen. He possesses the power to turn water or moisture in the air into ice.

In an interview with the entertainment news site, Jackson talked about his upcoming role and what's in store for his animated superhero character in the sequel of "The Incredibles". While referring to Brad Bird, director of the first film, he said, "Every time I run into Brad he always tells me Frozone is part of what's going on, so I have to believe that."

Of course, the Marvel actor is aware of the fact the "Incredibles" film centers on Bob's family, meaning the sequel could still succeed without his character. But as Cinemablend pointed out, Frozone's supporting role provided some of the best and funniest scenes in the first film.

Jackson continued, "I guess they could be the Incredibles without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful addition to what's already there."

And, like the fans of the first film, Jackson is also curious as to how the sequel would develop Jack-Jack's storyline, the youngest member of the Parr family.

"I'm just looking forward to seeing what Jack-Jack turned into," the actor added.

Although no official revelations have been made yet, fans are speculating that the sequel would feature Jack-Jack, now at least ten years older, as the main lead. As a teenager, the youngest Parr must learn how to cope with his family's not-so traditional lifestyle and his own superpowers.
