The HTC M8 may be better than the last, but unlike many smart phones and gadgets, it will have a launch on its own, not during the Mobile World Congress. After over a year since the highly successful HTC One was released, it's about time people take a closer look at the newer, better model.

Trusted reviews reported that according to the press release released by Carphone Warehouse, "Shortly after [the event], the new HTC One (M8) handsets will be transported directly from the venue of the launch announcement to six Carphone Warehouse stores in London: Westfield Stratford, Westfield White City, Oxford Circus, Centrepoint and Tottenham Court Road stores will all be hosting special events celebrating the HTC launch with entertainment and giveaways as well as the first chance for customers to get their hands on the new device."

PC Advisor also reported that according to a Carphone Warehouse spokespersonm "The HTC One is an award winning handset that set the bar for design during 2013 and made many sit up and take notice - the new HTC One M8 is likely to continue that trend and will cement HTC's future as a heavy-hitting smartphone manufacturer. We know how keen customers are to get hold of the latest tech as soon as possible and that is why we are so excited to be able to offer the new HTC One so quickly after it is unveiled."

Two mobile networks have so far confirmed that they will be retailing the new HTC One model: Three, and Vodaphone.

Three announced, "HTC will announce their all new HTC One (M8) on 25th March 2014. Save the date and come back to us to find out when you can get your hands on one."

Vodaphone, on the other hand, merely stated that it will stock on the next flagship phone from the company.

The price for the M8 has not been revealed yet, but being a high-end device, it will have a slightly high price tag. The original HTC One was priced at around £500 ($830), but was quickly lowered to a reasonable £450 ($745). The new one, on the other hand, is expected to be around £550 ($910).

The device will come in three colors: gold, silver, and grey.
