For some celebrities, it pays to attend awards shows. They get publicity, for one; plus, they also get nifty freebies that could make the cost of attending these events worthwhile.

This year's Oscars "swag bag" is one evidence that stepping out for the Academy Awards will give celebrities good returns for the investment of their time, effort, and for some, even money. It doesn't even matter if they win an award or not -- the swanky stuff given out for free at the Oscars are so good that they're enough to "dull the pain" for the losers, The Star noted.

"It's easier to cope with losing this year due to a swag bag worth some $80,000 for each of the non-winners in the acting and directing categories," the entertainment publication said.

That's a significant bump from last year's swag bag, which was only worth $55,000, according to CNN. Some of the items are even too big to carry home - celebrities actually request for these to be shipped to them. So, what's in this year's package? Here are most of the big ticket items.

The O-Shot Procedure ($2,700)

This allegedly helps enhance libido and sexual response, as well as slow urinary continence. Jennifer Lawrence may find this one really amusing.

Vacations ($27,500)

These luxurious travel packages include trips to Las Vegas, Hawaii, Japan, Mexico (including accommodations in a 2,500 square foot suite), and even the Canadian Rockies.

Home Spa ($2,560)

This makes sense -- looking amazing is part of our Hollywood stars' job. Plus, they need something to ease their acting anxieties after a long day inhabiting someone else's head or pretending to be someone else.

Water Filtration System ($2,700)

Krystal Klear offers nominees an entire residential water filtration system - great for those who don't compromise on their hydration habits.

$10,000 Pet Meal Donations ($6,100)

Nominees have the choice to donate $10,000 worth of Halo Spot's Stew, Ellen DeGeneres' natural pet food, to any animal shelter of their choosing.

Hair Transplant System ($16,000)

The "folically challenged" will love this robotic thingamajig. However, won't using this require the supervision of a licensed doctor or skin care specialist?
