Today is the big day for Samsung and its fans that have been waiting for the reveal of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

The South Korean company is set to showcase their latest innovations at the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin, or simply IFA 2012. The exhibition is one of the oldest of its kind in Germany and serves as one of the world's leading trade shows for consumer electronics and home appliances.

Samsung is being hailed as one of the big companies at the exhibition and they have decked out their presence with the Samsung SMART Lounge.

"The Samsung SMART Lounge is an exclusive lounge for bloggers and digital celebrities. All bloggers have to do is register at the entrance. Complimentary coffee, free Wi-Fi, comfortable seats and neat tables with power will be provided. You can connect with the many bloggers in town from around the world, refuel yourself and blog away while charging your devices," described Samsung.

Samsung is also launching the Experience Zone where visitors at IFA can check out their latest products and even go "hands-on." Samsung is giving visitors the right to take photos and video of their sites.

The highly anticipated Samsung product that fans are waiting to see is the Galaxy Note 2. A recent leak from a Chinese site might have spoiled the surprise showing the features of the phone.

The features, if proven correct today, include a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Display, 1280x720 resolution, an eight-megapixel camera, storage of 16GB and 32GB, display ratio of 16:9, an "enhanced" S-Pen Stylus, and will run on the new Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

Samsung is also scheduled to debut their Windows 8 computer. According to CBS, the computer desktop will price among the $749, $1,099, or $1,699 range pending on storage and display size. Although early reviews on the Windows 8 operating system have been mixed, Samsung has added its own element to it by adding a option start button to show a menu of applications. This feature, however, won't be available on other Windows 8 PCs or tablets by other companies.

Samsung will have other presentations throughout the week, as seen on the schedule below.
