Actor Shia LaBeouf has figured in a series of unfortunate and rather "odd" events for the past year and is fast solidifying his position as an officially and consistently eccentric celebrity.

His recent public appearance at the Berlin premiere of Lars Von Trier's 'Nymphomaniac: Part 1' is just one of his steadily growing number of baffling stunts in the last couple of months. Although he wore a sharp and stylish black tuxedo to the event, he also put on a brown bag over his head and walked through the red carpet in this bizarre disguise.

The brown bag was emblazoned with the words "I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE" in black paint, Variety reported. The bag also had two holes cut out to help the actor see where he's going. The holes probably also helped him get some air in and breathe better.

The message on Shia's brown paper bag is identical to the tweets he's repeatedly posted on his Twitter account since January 13 this year. It's the only line he tweets once a day daily since the date and even until now.

This makes us ask: is this the consequence of his "commitment" to method acting or the result of recreational drug use? Or is it still part of his "performance art" kick he talked about a while ago?

Judging by the stark similarity of the message painted on his paper bag/headgear and his tweets, it appears that his recent actions are still part of his ongoing "performance art" campaign, which included the scriptwriting plagiarism he was accused of and his "strange behavior."

If anything, his "stunt" simply earned 'Nymphomaniac' more publicity, despite the fact that he walked out of a press conference Sunday at the Berlin International Film Festival. In the film, he stars as Jerome, the main character's love interest.
