Manuel Pellegrini does not like Jose Mourinho and has done little to hide the fact. The Manchester City manager took some jabs at the Chelsea boss for making comments about the Premier League title.

According to ESPN, Mourinho recently claimed that the battle for a first-place finish in the England's top league was "Two horses and a little horse, a nice horse that still needs milk and to learn how to jump. A horse that next season can race." Of course the little horse is Chelsea while the two big horses are Manchester City and Arsenal. Arsenal sits atop the league with 55 points but the Blues and Citizens are tied for second with 53; Chelsea defeated Manchester City twice in 2013-14.

However, Pellegrini was not content with the "big horse, little horse" statements.

"Maybe it is a small horse if the manager thinks like that. It can be a little horse but very rich," he said, according to ESPN. "This is the team that spends most money in the last 10 years, it is the team that spends most money this year and the team that spends the most money in the transfer window so [it is] little but rich."

Pellegrini also took shots at Mourinho's personality and stated that the Chelsea boss was not willing to take complete responsibility for his team's season.

"I think he is favorite but he thinks if he wins he will have the merits but if he loses he does not have responsibility. It is the way he acts. Everyone acts the way he thinks is better for his team," he said. "It is very easy for me to say: 'It is my first year in the Premier League -- I am just getting to know the players so we don't have to expect anything in this year,' but I don't think it is the way. I think we are working every day to try and do our best. We will see what we can do in all the competitions."
