After the controversy which took place in mid-January, when the authorities of an elementary school temporarily suspended a teacher due to her past work as a model, the same authorities said last week that she could keep her current job.

Last Jan. 17, 23-year-old Kaitlin Pearson, a teacher for an elementary school for children with special needs was suspended with salary after South Street Elementary School authorities in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, anonymously received an envelope containing pictures of the teacher, revealing her past work as a model, according to the Daily Mail.

According to the same source, the envelope with Kaitlin's pictures also contained a note with the following written on it: "Can you believe this girl was hired to work with special needs children in Fitchburg schools?!"

Since the school's authorities decided that the pictures were too candid, the young teacher was suspended temporarily while an investigation took place.

Finally, last weekend, the school's superintendent, Andre Ravenelle, said in a statement that "After looking at the relevant information, misses Kaitlin Pearson was notified on Monday that she could return to her job, effective immediately. She came back to her work at the South Street Elementary School since Tuesday morning," quoted The Examiner.

According to an article published by The Huffington Post, the person that sent the envelope to the school also sent the photographs to the Sentinel and Enterprise newspaper hoping that the teacher would be fired.

In May, 2013, Olivia Sprauer, an English teacher that modelled under the name "Victoria James" was forced to quiet her position at the Martin County High School, after a photo shoot she had done for a gentlemen's magazine were revealed, reported then the International Business Times.
