With a successful career spanning over 10 years in the music industry, Jennifer López has decided to prove that despite everything, she's still the same New York girl as always.

At the height of her career, the Diva of the Bronx just released the video for her new single, "Same Girl," a preview of her eighth studio album, which will be released in the coming months.

In the "American Idol" judge's new video, we can see her walking through her old Bronx neighborhood, getting on the subway and interacting with the locals, people the Latina knows very well since she lived a great part of her childhood and youth in that New York borough.

According to E! Online, Jennifer López revealed that shooting the video happened very naturally while she walked on the streets of her old neighborhood.

"We did it guerilla style, just me and the camera and it turned out pretty good," said the popular Latina singer and actress during her guest appearance on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno.

"They were all people from the neighborhood. They were simply walking down the street and started following us. They started gathering around and we asked them if they wanted to be a part of the video. It was very fun and there was a lot of love there. I wanted to capture that," said the 44-year-old singer.

The video captures the Bronx, its streets and signs and the people, in one of the singer's more emotive videos, since it was over 10 years ago that the popular Latina jumped to fame with her song "Jenni From the Block," which shares her New York roots with her latest single.

This was probably the craziest thing I've done in my career of music and movies! #SameGirl https://t.co/3RKzTJ7Z9t
