Here's some good news and bad news for all of you waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Good news, Samsung will reveal the device along with its plans tomorrow, August 29. Bad news, it looks like you won't be able to purchase the Galaxy Note 2 until the first week of October.

Website SamMobile got an inside leak from a retailer showcasing upcoming product launches. There were two Galaxy Note 2 listings for the 40th week of 2012 - meaning the first week of October. The image shows that the Galaxy Note 2 will come in two colors, ceramic white, and a yet-to-be determined color.

This is a leaked detail from a retailer, not directly from Samsung. SamMobile has been fairly reliable in the past, but an official release date won't be available until tomorrow, when Samsung takes the wraps off the Galaxy Note 2 at a Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin just before the 2012 IFA consumer electronics show.

The same memo also indicated that a "Titan Gray" Galaxy S3 will be available three weeks before, in the 37th week.

The Galaxy Note 2 will build on the original Galaxy Note in almost every way. It will have a bigger 5.5-inch screen, a more powerful processor, and could even release with the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean already installed. The phablet should also come with a more sensitive and upgraded S pen stylus and some new S pen-specific apps.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is expected to be a huge launch for Samsung. The original Galaxy Note launched in 2011 and created some doubt as to whether people would want a giant 5.3-inch screen. Now, a year and over 10 million sales later, Samsung has been vindicated. There is a huge market for the phablet, and if the comments on previous LatinosPost articles are any indication, there is definitely a crowd of people anxiously waiting for the Galaxy Note 2.

If you still haven't seen the official teaser trailer for the Galaxy Note 2, here it is:
