Telemundo has announced the new series "Reina de Corazones."

The studio said in a press release that production would kick off on Jan. 28 and that the series would star Paola Núñez, Eugenio Siller, Juan Soler and Catherine Siachoque. The new soap opra is set in Sin City, Las Vegas and tells a love story that must overcome the barrier of memory, where the glamorous nightlife and casinos play a prominent role in a plot characterized by mysterious twists and turns, espionage, conspiracy, intrigue, crime and romance.

"Reina de Corazones" is another original telenovela written by Marcela Citterio ("Aurora," "Corazón Valiente") with Aurelio Valcárcel serving as executive producer.

The series marks Núñez's debut with Telemundo in a leading role. The actress is best known for her work in "Destino," "Cien Anos de Perdon," and "Pasion Morna."

Siller will appear in his third original production with the network. He has been seen in "Una Maid en Manhattan" and "Aurora." SIller has also starred in Televisa series' "Mi Pecado" and "Al Diablo Con Los Guapos."

Soler will return to Telemundo after his recent leading role in the primetime production "Marido En Alquiler." The actor will play his first villainous role in the series. Soler is also known for his work in "Cuando Me Enamoro," "La Fea Mas bella," and "La Otra."

Siachoque returns to the telenovela after a two year absence. She is best known for her work in "La Casa de al Lado," "Si Senos No Hay Paraiso," "Pecados Ajenos," and "Tierra de Pasiones."
