Just how serious is Quentin Tarantino about his films? Well, apparently serious enough to throw them away once someone goes behind his back to spill the beans on his latest projects.

This is what the "Django Unchained" director basically did to his "Hateful Eight" and proved the saying, "loose lips sink ships", according to a report on MTV News.

Tarantino felt very furious and betrayed after details of his latest project broke out. In an article on Deadline, he learned of the betrayal after his agent Mike Simpson told him that he has been receiving numerous calls from other agents attempting get their clients involved in the western film "Hateful Eight".

He said, "I'm very, very depressed. I finished a script, a first draft, and I didn't mean to shoot it until next winter, a year from now."

More like the "Hated Six", the director confirmed that only six people knew about his upcoming film. He identified them as actors Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, and their respective agents.

According to Tarantino, "The one I know who didn't do this is Tim Roth, One of the others let their agent read it, and that agent has now passed it on to everyone in Hollywood. I don't know how these f---ing agents work, but I'm not making this next. I'm going to publish it, and that's it for now. I give it out to six people, and if I can't trust them to that degree, then I have no desire to make it."

According to an article on the Guardian, news about the "Hateful Eight" made a public debut after numerous U.S. websites featured it as Tarantino's latest project, which would be his second western film after "Django". It was also revealed that Bruce Dern and Cristoph Waltz would star in it.

However, the director confirmed that Waltz never received the script. He said, "I hadn't given it to Cristoph, I haven't given it to Sam Jackson. I gave it to three m--------ing actors. We met in a place and I put it in their hands. It's got to be either the agents of Dern or Madsen."

But whoever revealed the script, it's confirmed that fans won't be expecting seeing the "Hateful Eight" in theaters anytime soon.

Thanks a lot, guy who couldn't keep his mouth shut.
