After the release of the Samsung Galaxy S5 made headlines, analysts think it's possible for the company to release different variants of its products.

Samsung released a series of their tablets during the CES 2014 but the International Business Times notes that the company might be releasing a wider range of handsets, including an alleged S5 Mini and an S5 Zoom.

The reported specs for the new handsets include 2560 x 1440, 5.25-inch display, LTE support and Exynos 6 chip with a Google Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, says the IBT, while Tech Radar adds in a 16MP camera. Rumors of an AMOLED display feature are also making a buzz.

According to the IBT, the two variants of the mobile phone will be the higher-end and mid-range models. Although there are sources that confirm the release of the variants, other reports claim that Samsung will be holding another event besides the World Mobile Convention, and that consumers will have to wait for the official announcement from the company for confirmation.

Design-wise, the Galaxy S5 will allegedly have a plastic and a metal version, with a  €150 price difference. As revealed by SamMobile, the plastic version will cost about  €650, while the metal one costs around  €800. However, Techno Buffalo notes that the U.S. price for the devices will drastically change with an impending two-year contract.

According to Tech Radar, other rumors that surround the release of the handsets include a new type of battery, storing 20% more energy than the S4. It is also thought to be fully chargeable under two hours.

According to the Phone Arena, the S5 mini may be announced in May, while the S5 Zoom, which is more camera-centric, may be introduced in June.
