Chris Pratt may be confirmed for "Jurassic Park 4."

The news appeared on Twitter when Ron Howard tweeted a picture of his daughter Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt. "Bryce and Chris meet for the 1st time on red carpet they will be co-stars in next Jurassic," Ron Howard captioned the picture.

Pratt has been rumored for the film since November. Variety first reported the news, stating, "Discussions are very preliminary, as scheduling and salary discussions, which were the original deal breakers for Brolin, have not been discussed yet,"

Pratt was recently seen in the new film "Delivery Man" starring Vince Vaughan. The actor has also been seen in "Zero Dark Thirty," "Moneyball," "Wanted," "Her" and "Movie 43." Pratt will also soon appear in "Guardians of Galaxy" and "The Lego Movie."

"Jurassic World" will be directed by the "Safety Not Guaranteed" filmmaker Colin Trevorrow, with Derek Connolly writing the movie. At the moment, Universal has kept plot details hidden but it is well known that Howard, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson are in talks to star in the film.

Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley will produce "Jurassic World," which is set to begin filming in the spring of 2014.

"Jurassic World" is one of the many franchise films slated for 2015. Some other films include "Avengers: Age of Ultron," "James Bond 24," "Batman vs. Superman," "Star Wars: Episode VII," "Ant-Man," "Assassin's Creed" and "Terminator 5."

Universal will release "Jurassic World" in theaters on June 12, 2015.
