Rapper and actress, Eve, is going to walk down the aisle soon, as she recently got engaged to her British designer boyfriend, Maximillion Cooper, when he popped the question on Christmas Day.
The couple met at Gumball 3000, which Cooper is a founder of. The Grammy Award-winning musician, full name Eve Jeffers, has been dating the designer since 2011.
According to MTV News, Cooper's Gumball 3000 is an international motor rally which showcases exotic cars and are being driven in public streets around the world. Eve, on the other hand, appeared on the big screen for "Barbershop" and "xXx", as well as on the sitcome "Eve", on top of her being a Grammy Award winner.
The rapper took to Twitter the news of her engagement, posting, "Thanku 2 everybody 4 your congratulations on our engagement! We wanted to celebrate with our family and friends 1st b4 announcing."
The internet world went abuzz with speculations about the marriage even before her annoucement when she posted a photo on her Instagram page, where the rapper sported her engagement ring in a pose with her mom and her brother.
According to USA Today, Cooper popped the question in Scotland, where they spent the holidays before going to the English countryside for New Year's.
The racing aficionado posted a picture of himself with the rapper on Instagram, saying, "Yes it's official...I asked the question...and she said YES! WAHOOO! we're getting married!"
This will be Eve's first marriage, but she will be a stepmom to Cooper's four children from a previous marriage. Despite that though, the rapper is excited to have her own family. In an interview with OK! Magazine in July, she said that she can't wait to have kids one day. She added, "That's the ultimate goal in life, for myself. I think that's the ultimate blessing."
