Hollywood couple Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux has this tradition of going on a "Mexican getaway" to cap off the year, reports New York Daily News, For 2013, actress Courteney Cox has been called on board to help the engaged lovers enjoy their year-end holiday.
The sight of these reel and real-life friends standing side by side in their bikinis, showing off their toned bodies in the Mexican sunlight calls to mind scenes from that hit '90s TV sitcom which catapulted both stars into fame and fortune. Wait - is this holiday reunion a sign of good things to come on the boob tube?
The fortysomething actresses have been known to be tight friends since starring together in "Friends", considered one of the most popular sitcoms in the 1990s. In fact, Jennifer is the godmother of Coco, Courteney's daughter. However, with recent rumors of a TV reunion, the recent outing of both actresses may have resuscitated talks about a possible on-screen appearance.
"(They seemed) happy, relaxed and looking forward to their break," a source shared to E! News.
Earlier, there were reports that the alleged "We're the Millers" star is slowly being convinced to commit herself to a possible "Friends" reunion sometime soon. According to The Times Live, Courteney "has been helping to pave the way for the reunion as she and Jennifer have remained close since shooting on 'Friends' wrapped."
A source told OK! Magazine that the "Cougar Town" actress has been telling Jennifer that she and co-star Matthew Perry still has that chemistry, "as though no time has passed at all."
So, is Courteney's presence at Jennifer and Justin's year-end Mexican getaway a sign that the engaged star is allowing herself to be talked into a reunion show?
The moles are silent on this subject - for now. We'll see what happens after the stars are done with their holiday vacay.
