"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" will undoubtedly be dominated by the villain of the title. Or will it?
According to Latino Review, the film will add another villain to the sequel to the hit film.
"You see, there is a breakdown circulating in Hollywood where Marvel is looking for a PHYSICALLY IMPOSING MAN, age range 40-50, Caucasian, for a supporting role," wrote the publication. "I found out that the supporting role is for, it's...BARON VON STRUCKER," reported Latino Review.
The character is known in the comic books as one of the leaders of HYDRA, an organization that was established in the first "Captain America" movie.
But the news does not end there. Latino Review hints that the actors that could be cast for the film include Marton Csokas and Dougray Scott. Scott was in "Mission Impossible II" while Csokas will appear in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For."
MTV thinks that Bryan Cranston, Mads Mikkelsen and Ralph Fiennes should all be considered for the role of the new villain.
According to a report from Hitfix, Von Strucker is the villain that the "Avengers" are fighting at the start of the film, who brings Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch into contact with the heroes.
"The Avengers" is slated for release on May 1, 2015. The films stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Cobie Smulders, James Spader, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr. and Don Cheadle.
