Last week, we brought you news of the auditionees who made it to Hollywood week of the "American Idol". We shared a full list of those who received the coveted Golden Ticket. This time, we're revealing who managed to land in the Top 30 list of contestants after battling through various singing challenges from December 14 to 22.

According to American Idol Net, the Top 30 is split into 15 boys and 15 girls. This is different from the usual Top 40 that the judges pick finalists from in previous years. Could this be the result of the producers' efforts to improve the show or is it just because there are less talented contestants showing up this year?

Whittling the batch of aspiring stars into a group of 30 can be a stressful job for judges Harry Connick Jr, Jennifer Lopez, and Keith Urban. Nevertheless, it's a task that needs to be done objectively and with professional finesse. Isn't that why these judges are given eye-watering paychecks for doing the show?

Having 10 less contestants to choose from could hasten the screening process and make the next rounds go at a faster clip. So, who did make it to the Top 30?

Among the boys, David Oliver Willis is the first to earn a place in the list. He is one of the A.I. "returnees" as he had tried his luck last year in season 12's audition rounds. According to the Orlando Sentinel, he managed to get into the lightning round but failed to be among the top 10 male contestants. Will his luck change this year?

Keri Lynn Roche is the first to be leaked as one of the female contestants who got into the Top 30 list. She, like Willis, is another returnee. Her "A.I." journey first began in season 12, which saw her get a Golden Ticket for Hollywood week. However, a sudden death round put her out of the running in the singing competition, reported The Washtenaw Voice.

With her inclusion in season 13's Top 30, it appears that Roche's "American Idol" journey is still not over.

Keep checking for updates to learn who else gets to continue their A.I. journey!
