Giant retail chain, Walmart, will be giving large discounts for their annual Christmas sale. The Christmas Countdown Savings Event kickstarted on December 13, and will run until Christmas Eve Day or until supplies last.

According to Market Watch, among the list of offers are gadgets for the lowest imaginable prices. Apple's iPhone 5C, for instance, will be sold for only $27 with a two-year subscription contract with Verizon or AT&T.

The iPhone 5S, on the other hand, will be offered at a discounted price of $127.

The iPad Mini will be sold at its original price at $299, but it will come with a free Walmart gift card for $50. The iTunes Gift Card, normally priced at $30, will be marked down at $5 off.

Toys for boys and girls, apparel, sleepwear  and even large table games will offered during this sale event.

The Christmas sale does not end there. The company has advised customers to start pre-ordering the Sony PlayStation 4 consoles, as they will receive the biggest shipment yet. The consoles started appearing on the shelves 8 a.m. Sunday and the sale will go on while supplies last.

Starting Monday, December 16, Walmart imposed a special markdown on over 300 items, perfect for holiday gifts as they will mostly be toys, apparel, electronics, as well as home goods.

Finally, the best electronic deals may be expected until December 24th, with items being sold at hefty discounts, including a 70-inch Vizio LED Smart HDTV and Monster headphones for $200 and $50 off the original prices, respectively.

In an article by Twice.com, the retailer's U.S. chief merchandising and marketing officer, Duncan Mac Naughton said, "As our customers count down the final days until Christmas, we remain focused on offering them great prices and the hottest gifts to place under their Christmas trees."
