Microsoft's Windows Phone division has uploaded a new advertisement touting a holiday offer featuring the Nokia Lumia 928 smartphone and Lumia 2520 tablet.
Nokia's first tablet, the Lumia 2520, which utilizes the Windows 8.1 operating system, can be purchased on the online Microsoft Store for $399 when activating a two-year contract with mobile carrier Verizon Wireless. A month-to-month contract is also available with the mobile carrier for $499.99.

According to the online Microsoft Store, the purchase of the Lumia 2520 tablet provides the consumer the opportunity to obtain the Lumia 928 for free. The Lumia 928 requires a two-year agreement with Verizon Wireless for the free offer.
The Lumia 928 smartphone is available for free regardless of the Lumia 2520's purchase. Verizon Wireless customers can also purchase the Lumia 928 with the Verizon Edge plan, which will charge the buyer $16.81 per month.
Windows Phone featured the Lumia 2520-Lumia 928-bundle deal in a new 30-second video. The father in the video shares how he was able to buy his son the Nokia tablet and yet get his daughter the "best low-light smartphone camera this side of the North Pole" for free.
"Dad for the win," concludes the dad, as the advertisement features the song "Brave" by Sara Bareilles.
A limited-time offer is also available with the purchase of the Lumia 2520 and Lumia 928 courtesy of Verizon Wireless. The mobile carrier is offering a $20 app credit if either of the Nokia devices are purchased before Jan. 15, 2014.
The Lumia 928's features include a 4.5-inch display with 1,280x768 pixels. The Lumia 928 also comes with 32GB internal storage and 1GB of RAM and no card microSD card slot. When it comes to the photography, the rear-facing camera has 8 megapixels with 3,264x2,448 pixels and Carl Zeiss optics. The front-facing camera, meanwhile, has 1.3 megapixels. The smartphone can also record at 1080p at 30 frames per second.
The Lumia 2520 features a screen size of 10.1 inches with 1,920x1,080 resolution at 218 pixels per inch. The Lumia 2520 is available in a 32GB internal storage model with 2GB of RAM. The tablet sports a microSD card slot for up to 32GB additional memory. The Lumia 2520 has a rear-facing photography camera with 6.7 megapixels at 3,088x1,744 pixels and a front-facing camera with 2 megapixels. The Lumia 2520 has a battery capacity of 8,000mAh for up to 600 hours on standby.
