The former Victoria's Secret angel has been noted by Babble as "quickly becoming the Gwyneth Paltrow of South America" for her eyebrow-raising comments, which sometimes seem to roll off her tongue before she could fully grasp the implications of what she's saying.

Like that time she declared she doesn't apply sunscreen because she "cannot put this poison on my skin" - something that goes against the mantra of top dermatologists. She later backtracked and said her quote was misunderstood, according to Yahoo! Lifestyle.

But that's not her most stellar and controversy-stirring statement. Here are 5 of her most notoriously infamous comments.

That Patriots Outburst

"My husband cannot f****** throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time," Gisele reportedly said as she stomped out of the stadium, ABC News reported.

While some may call this proof of her mettle as supportive wife to New England Patriots quarterback husband Tom Brady, some were apparently not pleased with what she said. "She just needs to continue to stay cute and shut up," Brandon Jacobs, Giants running back, told E! Online.

That Audacious Stepson Claim

"I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me it's not like because somebody else delivered him, that's not my child. I feel like it is, 100 percent," Gisele shared in an interview with Vanity Fair back in 2009.

It sounds like the Brazilian supermodel meant to say she welcomes the child as her own but with the way she put her sentences together, she earned the puzzled and stunned reactions of other mothers around the world, ABC News noted.

That Egotistic Confession

"I don't like Paris so much, and it's only eight shows. I mean, don't tell them that, of course. But everyone always thinks they're so important. And I'm sure they are. But to me, my happiness is more important," Mrs. Tom Brady revealed to Spanish TV show Corazon de Primavera, according to Babble. Wow.

That Breastfeeding Rant

In 2010, she told Harper's Bazaar U.K. the following: "Some people here think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think, 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?' There should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months."

The 33-year-old model later backpedaled saying in her blog that her comment about breastfeeding "has nothing to do with the law."

That Self-Indulgent Photo

"What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only three hours of sleep #multitasking #gettingread," read the caption of Gisele's recent Instagram upload. This time, it's the image itself that stirred up controversy rather than her utterances. See to believe and understand.

Which statement do you think takes the cake?
