As early as June this year, the production team behind the third installment of the Hunger Games trilogy has been making casting calls for various parts and non-acting positions through Catrett Locke Casting, according to MyHungerGames.com.

The call, posted on the CL Casting Facebook page, was even headlined with the following: "Let the 75th annual Booking Games commence!! And may the odds be ever in your favor!!"

Over the next couple of months, the agency's requirements changed, ranging from "thin children" to above-45 men and women.

One of the recent casting call updates, as reported by Inquisitr, required people fitting the following description:

"Seeking ages 45+, thin-framed men and women, all ethnicities. We need MALES and FEMALES, thin framed, ages 45 and up. Men must be willing to get hair cut. WORK DATE: DECEMBER 17, 18 and 19th. LOCATION: SOUTH OF ATLANTA SUBJECT: 45+"

The firm also posted instructions on how to submit audition requirements, as follows:

"In order to be considered, YOU MUST submit your photos in the proper format. A photo of what we're expecting is attached below. (Individual photo attachments are fine - Card form not required) Females should NOT be wearing makeup and you SHOULD have your hair pulled back, out of your face."

Aspiring Hunger Games: Mockingjay extras, are you paying attention?

It was not specified by the agency that the casting was for the Hunger Games production. However, the descriptions CL Casting gave about the film project were telling.

The casting firm's most recent post on its FB page, where you can find updates and details on how to audition, repeated its call for "thin framed men" who will be working from December 17-19 and are "willing to cut hair" and have a "very clean and uniformed look." You'll need to be in Atlanta in order to join the selection.

The Inquisitr also quoted a tour operator as saying that the auditions are expected to draw a huge response from Atlanta locals.

"The Hunger Games are the hottest things in town!" said Patti David. "Pretty much anytime you go to the movies you're going to see Atlanta."

Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin, and Philip Seymour Hoffman will return in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay to reprise their respective roles.
