Would you trust your wedding to be recorded by a smartphone? Nokia tested that very question recently and recorded a wedding with the Lumia 1020 Windows Phone 8 smartphone featuring the 41-megapixel sensor.

Wedding and lifestyle photographer Joy Marie received a Lumia 1020 by Nokia to test if she could capture a wedding on the Windows Phone 8 smartphone.
Nokia stated, "We don't believe any wedding photographer has tried to use a smartphone as their primary device before, so this is another first for the Nokia Lumia 1020!"
According to Marie, she was excited when Nokia contacted her to snap photography with the Lumia 1020. She also had her reservations, feeling a little "anxious," since wedding photography cannot be repeated.
The manual settings featured in the Lumia 1020 impressed the lifestyle and wedding photographer. She added that the Lumia 1020 featured settings not seen with other smartphones.
In the U.S., the Lumia 1020 is an exclusive smartphone with mobile carrier AT&T. The Lumia 1020 is priced at $99.99 when signing a two-year contract with the mobile carrier. The $99.99 offer is valid through the online website of AT&T due to a $100 online discount, otherwise, the smartphone is priced at $199.99.
As Latinos Post reported, the Lumia 1020 was named as an "Honoree" among eight other camera devices for the International CES 2014 due to its digital imaging. The Lumia 1020 is the sole smartphone to make the category alongside gadgets such as the Nikon 1 AW1, Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX7, Samsung Galaxy NX, Sony 4K Handycam Camcorder, and Sony Action Cam Point-of-View HD Video Camera, to name a few.
The Lumia 1020's features include a 4.5-inch screen with 1,280x768 pixels covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new Windows Phone 8 device has 32GB of internal storage for 2GB of RAM. The device includes a rear-facing camera with a 41-megapixel sensor and front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels. The smartphone also packs a 2,000mAh battery.
