The gynecology department of Chile's Concepción health center has undergone some troubles regarding women's appointments owing to the increase of demand of check-ups by Manuel Rico Rivera, a young Spanish student.

According to information published by local newspaper Nuevo Diario, the 24-year-old man is carrying out his obstetrician and gynecology practice in the community of Concepción as a part of his studies; however, it's not possible for him to go unnoticed due to his modeling history which led him to be crowned Spain's 2010 King of Beauty.

The source points out that the presence of the handsome doctor has caused a stir among female patients, who have increased their requests for appointments to get a check-up from the hands of the young man, who had to offer a press conference when he arrived at Concepción to explain why he was there.

In his declaration to the media, Rico claimed that he is currently focused on his gynecology studies and he hopes to be considered a normal person, attempting to distance himself from the fame he obtained in 2010 when he was declared Spain's most handsome man.

On his Facebook account, the model/medic points out that he's studying at the faculty of medicine of the University of Córdova. He also details that he worked for the Berta Models Management agency.

The student's beauty has caused a stir on social networks. His website shows many pictures of him.
