Warner Bros. has released a Spanish language TV spot for the upcoming film "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug."

The studio is beginning to reveal more teasers in the coming weeks as the film gets closer to opening. The teaser shows many action sequences featuring Evans as the Bard, Martin Freeman as Bilbo and Orlando Bloom as Legolas. The trailer also previews the dragon Smaug, which was voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch.

"The Desolation of Smaug" is the second film in "The Hobbit" trilogy. It continues Bilbo and the Dwarves' journey to the Mountains to get back the Dwarves' gold from Smaug the dragon.

The film, directed by Peter Jackson and written by Fran Walsh, Phillippa Boyens, Guillermo del Toro and Jackson, also stars Ian McKellan, Sylvester McCoy, Elijah Wood, Lee Pace and Richard Armitage. Cumberbatch will also play the Necromancer while Canadian actress Evangeline Lilly will also join the cast as the elf Tauriel. Christopher Lee, Stephen Fry, Andy Serkis and Ian Holm will also make appearances.

"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" was the first in the new series and was met with mixed reviews last year. Critics called the film overlong and compared it to the original trilogy. Todd McCarthy from the Hollywood Reporter stated, "There are elements in this new film that are as spectacular as much of the Rings trilogy was, but there is much that is flat-footed and tedious as well, especially in the early going."

Meanwhile, Peter Debruge from Variety was a bit more positive: "Fulfilling just a fraction of J.R.R. Tolkien's 'There and Back Again' subtitle, 'The Hobbit' alternately rewards and abuses auds' appetite for all things Middle-earth."

Warner Bros. will release "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" on Dec. 13. Check out the new TV spot below.
