A new dog breed was introduced in the United States that doesn't age, is playful and promises to be the newest fashionable breed.

The name of this new breed is "Cava-Poo-Chon." According to the Associated Press, they were born after years of canine genetic research and are the result of a mix of Poodle, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bishon Frise.

The puppies were created by Timshell Farm in Arizona thanks to experts Linda and Steve Rogers, but the American Kennel Club did not recognize them as a new breed because many people consider them to be expensive accessories.

The Cava-Poo-Chon can approach babies and seniors because they are hypoallergenic and 12 of the dogs are certified as therapeutic pets for nursing homes and hospitals.

The trainer in charge of the 50-puppy breed, Steve Haynes, said that people have long been interested in a breed that doesn't grow too much.

"There's always been a market for these dogs that never seem to age. Until recently, specialized dogs like Yorkies were in vogue."

For a long time, the Mexican breed, the Chihuahua, was the favorite of women and celebrities like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, according to Perros.

Demand for the new dog breed is high, so prices are rising. They're especially popular because since their small size makes them easy to travel with.

Dog expert Darlene Arden told the AP that small breeds enjoyed the same popularity some years ago, but currently people are leaning more towards new breeds of smaller dogs with cute names like "poo" or "oodle."

Timshell Farm is the only place to buy a Cava-Poo-Chon, at a price between $2,000 and $3,000. Almost 60 American families have adopted one and come back to buy another.
