In that span, Thailand has only scored six times and has only scored once in its last six games against Iran. The most lopsided scoreline between these two sides came in 1984 when Iran managed a 5-0 victory.
Prediction: Thailand will be playing at home and could potentially gain a boost from the home crowd. However, the standings state everything there is to know about these two nations and how different they are. One is already a World Cup contender while the other continues to be a mediocre also-ran. Look for Iran to pull off a 2-0 win in this match.
