A new Facebook update has rolled out for Microsoft Windows Phone smartphone operating system users.

The latest Facebook updated, listed as version 5.2.0.1, includes general bug fixes and supports additional languages.

The Facebook update is compatible for Windows Phone 7.5 and Windows Phone 8 devices and requires approximately 6MB of memory.

The reviews for the update have been mixed to positive.

One user wrote, "Thanks for updating but still we need messenger app Good there is an option to refresh online contacts but I prefer messenger bubble like iOS and Android please fix this app and bugs it [crash] sometimes."

Bob shared, "When I try to share one of my photos to a friends page and I click to choose on my saved photos, they all show up as the same picture. Unable to see any others."

Alvaro shared a similar photo concern, "Bad and the app has a bug when you send a image to your friend."

Anthony wrote, "Works okay. Wondering if they're ever going to fix the notifications issue? I haven't had toast or tile notifications for several months now."

"Awesome app, would be great if you could send emocons and stickers in chat. Otherwise I like it a lot. Fast and fluid," reviewed Frank.

The Facebook update for Windows Phone users come two days after the social media network rolled out its iOS update.
