Jason Schwartzman is rumored to star in the upcoming "Jurassic World."
Hypable reported that unnamed sources stated that the Schwartzman would join the upcoming installment. However, the sources failed to mention which role he would be playing.
If the rumors are true Schwartzman would be joining Josh Brolin and Bryce Dallas Howard in the film. However, neither the studio nor Schwartzman's agents have confirmed the news.
Schwartzman is best known for his work in Wes Anderson films. He has been seen in "Moonrise Kingdom," "Rushmore," "The Fantastic Mr. Fox," "The Darjeeling Limited," and the short film "Hotel Chevalier." He has also been seen in "Marie Antoinette," "Funny People" and "I Heart Huckabees." He will next appear in the film "Saving Mr. Banks," and in the Berlin Film Festival opener "The Grand Budapest Hotel." He will also be seen in Tim Burton's upcoming film "Big Eyes."
Colin Trevorrow will direct the film, which will be written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley will produce the film with Steven Spielberg serving as Executive Producer.
The "Jurassic Park" series is one of the most lucrative franchises of all time. The first "Jurassic Park" was released in 1993 and became an instant classic. The following film was released in 1997 and the third film launched in 2001.
"Jurassic World" is one of the many franchise films slated for 2015. Some of these films include "Avengers: Age of Ultron," "Batman vs. Superman," "Star Wars: Episode VII," "Ant-Man," "Assassin's Creed," "Terminator" and "Independence Day 2."
The new film is scheduled for a release on June 12, 2015 and will be released by Universal.
