Laura Zapata has had enough of her sister Thalía's callousness towards their family. The Mexican actress recently called her sister "embarassing" for not helping out their grandmother, Eva Mange.

According to People en Español, the sister of the popular actress and singer said in an interview with Univision that Thalia and the rest of her half-sisters — writer Ernestina Sodi, painter Gabriela Sodi and archaeologist Federica Sodi — have completely avoided helping their grandmother economically.

"I think that it's embarrassing that someone that's supposed to be responsible for their grandmother, ignores her," said the controversial actress.

Since 2012, Zapata hasn't stopped claiming 41-year-old Thalía doesn't want to take care of their grandmother.

In a December 2012 interview with Mara Patricia Castañeda, Thalía refused to talk about the legal conflict started by her 95-year-old grandmother, Eva Mange, to obtain economic support from the Sodi sisters.

"Family matters should be that and stay in the family. That's all I have to say," Thalía told Quién.

However, it appears the conflict has not stayed within the family. Especially considering her sister Laura's recent allegations, claiming Thalia only wanted to take care of 20 percent of her grandmother's expenses.

"Miss Thalía only wanted to cooperate with 20 percent and I told her that honestly I didn't have the time to break down my grandmother's expenses... I told them to get an accountant but they got greedy" said Zapata.

"I expected something else... 'how much have you spent? I'll send you half'... not 20 percent, I think that position is a little miserable. But to each his own," she said.
