With Android's Jelly Bean operating system (OS) not widely available for most of its products, it is still an Ice Cream Sandwich world unless you have Apple's latest OS, the iOS 6.

Which of the two proves better for tech users? More importantly, which OS is better for the person constantly on the move?

For multitasking purposes, the Ice Cream Sandwich should be your best friend, according to Business Insider.

The Ice Cream Sandwich lets you overlay running apps when you press the multitasking key. With the key activated, you can reopen apps or swipe it to close it away. For the iOS 6, there are additional steps you have to take to manage several apps at once. The first step is to double tap the home button, then select the app you want open, and to close you'll have to momentarily hold it till the red dot to close appears. It seems to be a bit time consuming.

Need to be continually updated?

Once again the victory of this round goes to the Ice Cream Sandwich, which has a better widgets system that automatically allows you to display real-time information and updates for your device. For the iOS, you'll have to tap for an app to appear.

According to Phones Review, texting in the iOS 6 improved with a quick reply feature and a "Do Not Disturb" mode that enables the user to only allow calls from certain people. The Ice Cream Sandwich already has the quick reply feature but doesn't have the "Do Not Disturb" mode.

Improvements for both operating systems include its Facebook integration, the voice commands, and mobile payments. However, Gizmodo notes for Android's Google Wallet, some mobile carriers are not as keen to have the feature on their networks. One carrier in question is Verizon.

For now, it seems Android's Ice Cream Sandwich prevails over Apple's iOS 6. Apple has made strong efforts to compete with the Android but has not managed to keep up, and with the released of Android's newest OS - the Jelly Bean - Apple has a lot to work on.
