On Nov.9 the Miss Universe beauty pageant will be held with 87 contestants competing for the crown. Among them are Germany's Anne Julia Hagen, Great Britain's Amy Willerton and Greece's Anastasia Sidiropoulou.

This year, Hagen will represent Germany. Hagen earned her Bachelor's in Cultural and American Studies, and is currently pursuing her Master's degree at the University of Potsdam in Berlin. She has an affinity for art, culture, writing and painting. Two years ago she built her own charity project called "Der Lernpate," which helps integrate children from different socio-economic backgrounds into German schools. One of Hagen's dream jobs is to become an ambassador for Germany.

Hagen's road to Miss Universe began in 2010 when she was crowned Miss Germany 2010. In 2013, she won the Miss Universe Germany 2013 pageant. Hagen will attempt to bring the crown back to Germany after the country won in 1953.

Great Britain will be represented by Willerton, who began her road to Miss Universe when she won the Miss Universe Great Britain in 2013. Previously, she worked as a presenter for Fashion TV and as a professional model. In her spare time, Willerton enjoys traveling, horseback riding and cooking. She also enjoys extreme sports like skydiving, wake boarding and mountain climbing.

Sidiropoulou's studied at a university in Slovakia in hopes of becoming a dentist. She is currently dedicated to philanthropy and is developing a volunteer team in her community that assists children with leukemia. She also heads a 24-hour organization that observes fires in the area and teaches locals first aid techniques. On her spare she plays guitar, paints, plays basketball and does ballet.

The Greek participant hopes to bring the crown back to Greece as the country has not won since 1964.

The competition will take place in Moscow, Russia where current winner Olivia Culpo will crown the new Miss Universe.
