Tottenham faces Sheriff Tiraspol on Thursday in the Europa League.

The English side can clinch a berth in the next round if it manages to pull off a win or draw against the Moldova squad. The win would leave Tottenham with 12 points; Sheriff would only be able to acquire a maximum of eight points if it won its final two games while last place Tromso can only pick up a maximum of 10 points with wins in its final three games.

Tottenham will look to get more offense from Spanish striker Roberto Soldado. The Spaniard has scored four goals in the Premier League but three of those have been scored from the penalty spot.

"It's not probably falling the way he would like. He is scoring from the penalty spot [against Hull]. It's goals but it's probably not what he wants goals to be like but he works hard in training and I feel his performances on the field are going to bring goals," said teammate Kyle Walker of the struggling Spaniard, according to ESPN. "In training he is on fire, but it's not falling for him in the games. It will definitely come, though. He's a fantastic player, a Spanish international and the goals will come."

Sheriff needs a win to keep pace with second place Anzhi Makhachkala.

Prediction: Tottenham won 2-0 on the road in the last encounter with Sheriff and should wind up with a 4-0 win at home in this game.

Start Time: Kick-off starts at 3 p.m. EST
