Barcelona Coach Gerardo Martino is annoyed with having to answer questions about Lionel Messi's form.

The Argentinean told reporters that he had no concerns about his superstar's play of late and wanted people to leave him alone.

"In five days this is the third press conference, and about the 20th question about Messi's situation," said an exasperated Martino, according to ESPN. "This has come out about Messi because it has not happened in a long time that he has gone three or four games without scoring. It only happens because he has put the bar so high. When you have a player who scores three on Saturday, two on Wednesday, two more with two assists the next Saturday, that is what happens."

"I do not know what others are saying, but I speak with him about what I need to and I am very relaxed about his state," said Martino. "It could be that Leo does not feel fine, because he has had two injuries this season, and maybe lost some condition, so he might feel he is not 100 percent. We are not doing anything special. He is training as normal with us, nothing specific."

Messi only scored one goal in the entire month of October and is battling a lingering thigh injury. He has also failed to score in three straight Spanish League clashes and has looked invisible for lengthy stretches. On Wednesday, he will play at home against AC Milan, the last team that he scored against.

Messi currently trails rival Cristiano Ronaldo and Diego Costa in the Spanish League scoring race. He has won that "Pichichi" the last two seasons.
