Ricky Hatton previously said that his compatriot Amir Khan could get Floyd Mayweather Jr into trouble, but the former champion reiterated that he does not see anyone defeating the reigning pound-for-pound king.

In an interview with James Blears of Boxingscene, the Manchester boxing legend, who once tried to hand Mayweather his first defeat, said that no one has yet to discover the formula to defeating "Money May."

"No one seems to have discovered the formula to beating Floyd. He's a very versatile fighter who always seems to find a way to win. But anything can happen on the night of a fight," Hatton said.

Hatton fought Mayweather in 2007, but he was stopped by "Pretty Boy" in the tenth round of their showdown. The Briton said that he took Mayweather out of his rhythm for several rounds before the undefeated American recovered, while also pointing out that the referees could have given him a fair crack during that fight.

"I threw him out of his rhythm for maybe five or six rounds, but then he started pulling away from me," Hatton said. "I don't think the referee was great for me in that fight. I'm not going to be an idiot, stand here and say that was the reason I lost the fight, but he certainly didn't give me a fair crack of the whip. You certainly need a fair crack of the whip, to have half a chance of beating him. To be honest, I can't see anyone beating Floyd."

Meanwhile, Hatton also gave his take on the upcoming fight of his former tormentor -- Manny Pacquiao, who is set to take on Brandon Rios in his comeback fight on Nov. 24th in Macau.

Hatton said that Pacquiao will struggle with his confidence after his devastating knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez, but "The Hitman" believes that Pacquiao will handle Rios easily.

But while he predicted a Pacquiao victory, the 35-year-old fighter-turned-boxing promoter boldly said that Pacquiao is nearing the end of his illustrious boxing career.

"I personally think the writing is on the wall for Manny. He didn't look very good against Timothy Bradley, then he got knocked down like that. The signs don't look good, but he wants to come back and come back with a win," Hatton said in a separate Boxingscene report. "I do think it's going to be a tough night for Manny, but I also think he'll come back with a victory."
