Former world's No.1 Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic are all set for another pulsating duel as they kick off their ATP World Tour Finals campaign on Tuesday at the O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom.

Fresh from bagging another title at the 2013 Paris Masters, Djokovic looks to keep rolling as he tries to steal the top spot of the ATP World rankings from reigning kingpin Rafael Nadal.

However, with eight of the world's best netters all coming together in London, the Serb knows that taking the top spot in the rankings will require more than just skill and determination. After all, it has been a grueling tennis season for all the players.

"Physically I didn't feel as good today, but in important moments, I managed to overcome the challenge," Djokovic told the Telegraph. "But it's not just me who is tired and has played many matches. All of the top players have had long seasons. You just have to try to find the strength, find a way to recover.

"I am definitely playing my best tennis this year, including the start of the year with the Australian Open and Dubai, when I had a great run. The summer was up and down, and now I'm on a very high level, even though it's going to be three weeks now in a row for me: Paris, London, and the Davis Cup final," he added.

Federer Rising Again

After having perhaps the most unproductive run of his tennis career, Federer is starting to look like his 'old' self again following strong finishes in his last two tournaments.

Federer, a 17-time Grand Slam champion, was a runner-up to Juan Martin Del Potro in the Basel Open Indoors and a semifinalist in the Paris Masters 2013. He also recorded his first win against a Top 10 opponent since January after besting Del Potro 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 in their quarterfinal match.

Looking for Great Match

Though Federer holds a 16-14 head-to-head advantage over Djokovic, the Serb has racked up five wins out of their last seven encounters. Still, Djokovic is very much aware that the Swiss Master is capable of pulling off another win against him anytime.

"Every time we play it's a great match, challenging and intense," said Djokovic following his 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 come-from-behind win over Federer in the semis of the Paris Masters.
