HTC Ones are in the middle of an aggressive update campaign, and owners of the aluminum-encased smartphone in the United Kingdom will receive Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and Sense 5.5 during the first week of November, HTC confirmed.

HTC UK revealed the release time frame for the HTC One update through Twitter.

HTC began updating the One handset to Android 4.3 in early October. The upgrade initially rolled out for U.S. models of the HTC One, although Europeans receive an extra treat for waiting so long: Sense 5.5.

Sense 5.5 is HTC's latest version of its custom user interface. Users can now add RSS feeds into BlinkFeed, the content aggregation feature of Sense. Users will also find they can finally turn off BlinkFeed, and there's nifty new editing tools for video as well.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean isn't much of a drastic overhaul to the Jelly Bean interface; most of the changes can be found under the hood. Performance is greatly enhanced thanks to TRIMS support, and users will be pleased to find more customization options than ever before.

In other HTC One update news, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer promised to deliver the latest Android version, Android 4.4 KitKat, to HTC Ones as soon as possible. If all goes according to schedule, all U.S. HTC Ones should have Android 4.4 KitKat by February at the latest.
