Manchester City will look to defeat CSKA Moscow when the two teams meet at the Ethiad Stadium in the Champions League on Tuesday.

City enters the game with six points to Moscow's three; a win would give the English side a six-point advantage. The team would then need just one point against lowly Viktoria Plzen in its next Champions League bout to clinch second place in the group and move on to the knockout rounds.

The big story of the game is the demotion of top goalie Joe Hart. Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini has announced that he plans to stick with goalie Costel Pantilimon for at least three weeks to give the keeper a chance to show what he can do.

"For the moment we must support Costel Pantilimon. Joe made a lot of mistakes, he knows," said Pellegrini, according to The Guardian. "Not just this year, also last year. So I think for Joe it is a good moment to stop. But I am absolutely sure that working hard he will, I don't know when, but in a moment he must return to his normal position."

Pellegrini also noted that Hart has been supportive of Pantilimon in recent matches.

"It's not an answer to do in just one minute," he said about how long he plans to keep Hart on the bench for. "We will try to recover him as soon as possible. But he was the first player today who congratulated Costel Pantilimon and the morale inside the team is very well. Joe is one of the players with him and my duty is to start with the players I think that will give the best performance."

Prediction: City wins 3-1 at home.

Start Time: Kick-off starts at 2: 45 p.m. EST
