Tottenham will look to defeat Hull City for the second time in three days when the two sides meet in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.

Tottenham defeated Hull City 1-0 in its last game but Coach Andre Villas-Boas complained about the lack of support from fans in the game despite being the home team; Villas-Boas even went as far as claiming that it felt as if his side was the away team.

"It was very difficult to get into situations where we could create danger,'' he said, according to ESPN. "Hull came with one objective which was to prevent us scoring the first goal. We tried hard and were persistent, it was different to the game against West Ham, we kept our cool today.

"We played in a very difficult atmosphere, very tense, very negative and we looked like the away team but we kept our cool. We had to dig deep within ourselves because we weren't getting help from anybody, the stadium reflected this atmosphere, very tense and without a lot of support until the first goal.''

The comments drew the ire of the fan base and will likely create an even more tense environment when the team takes the pitch at White Hart Lane for its Wednesday encounter with the same team.

Prediction: Tottenham is the favorite in this encounter and should be able to come away with a solid 1-0 or 2-0 victory.

Start Time: Kick-off starts at 3:45 p.m. EST
